At Behaved Brain we work with teens and young adults on helping them to understand their brain and body connection, learning to navigate stress with appropriate coping skills and assisting them as they transition to adulthood.  Over 77% of college students report moderate to serious psychological distress (bestcolleges.com).  It is important to support students with appropriate interventions and strategies so they feel confident to take on adulthood, ensuring that they have the self-awareness and confidence to navigate the world ahead.  

We utilize wellness techniques,executive functioning assistance, cognitive behavioral strategies and mindfulness/positive psychology to help teens and young adults not only understand mental health, but learn to live positive, confident lives without their mental health issues taking over.  When there is an understanding of “How” things work, there is a level of acceptance and control that comes, along with a willingness to adapt and use appropriate strategies.
