Gianna is a certified School Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting the emotional and mental well-being of children and adolescents. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University.

Biography

Gianna is a certified School Social Worker with a deep passion for supporting the emotional and mental well-being of children and adolescents. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Advocacy and Policy from Montclair State University. In addition to her clinical work, Gianna also serves as a School Counselor at an elementary school, where she provides daily support to students navigating academic, social, and emotional challenges.

Gianna specializes in helping children and young people manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. She incorporates Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) techniques into her work, helping clients develop self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills. Her approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

With a strong foundation in child development and advocacy, Gianna is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space where children and families feel heard, supported, and empowered. She works closely with families to ensure a holistic, collaborative approach to care.

Whether working with a child struggling with big emotions, a student having trouble focusing, or a family navigating difficult transitions, Gianna brings warmth, expertise, and genuine care to every session.
