Biography

Meaghan is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor dedicated to assisting children, adolescents and families improve their overall functioning by implementing strategies to manage the expectations and concerns they encounter at home, in school and in their relationships. Meaghan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University.

Meaghan has several years of experience working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, and difficulty with focus, attention, and impulse control. Meaghan has previous experience with providing crisis intervention and stabilization services to at-risk children and their families.

Meaghan provides a warm, caring and supportive environment to assist clients in meeting their goals. Additionally, Meaghan has attended advanced trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, School Presence, and the Nurtured Heart Approach. Meaghan believes in the importance of implementing evidenced-based interventions with her clients and frequently attends continuing education trainings to further advance her skill set. Meaghan is committed to helping children and adolescents learn positive coping strategies to reach their full potential.
