As a parent, you are constantly faced with new information. Every Facebook post, blog, doctor’s office or professional is giving you information to process and implement for your family. This can be overwhelming, and may make the most dedicated, organized parent feel like giving up-because how are you going to possibly limit your child’s exposure to the 1,000,000 things that are “bad.”
You aren’t. It’s not possible. At least not without driving yourself partially insane in the process, probably while moving your family to a remote region of a mountain somewhere…but it is possible to prioritize and make goals of what works for your family.
Take some time one afternoon to really think about your families day, diet, and routines that you feel like are not working the way you would like. Maybe you would like to revisit supplements? Sugar? Diet? Sleep? Family time? Reflect and make a list. This list serves as your wellness goals. Try to break down each one into steps, and work towards it. Any change you make will be a positive one. And if all else fails, there is always a mountain somewhere. Or call us and we can help!
