Biography
Olivia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents by providing a variety of coping strategies to assist with life transitions, relationship and school concerns, and family dynamics. Olivia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The College of New Jersey and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Olivia has experience working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety and depressive disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder. Olivia has previous experience working with children and families in an outpatient, as well as a partial hospitalization setting.
Olivia provides a supportive, relaxing and empathetic environment to help children and their families reach their therapeutic goals. Additionally, Olivia practices utilizing a Cognitive-Behavioral, Dialectical-Behavioral and Person-Centered approach to process with and teach individualized coping skills for children and their families. Olivia implements evidence-based practices and interventions to ensure that her clients feel heard, validated and can successfully make changes to improve their overall mental health and well-being.
